2.3 [Work in Progress] Thesis 3: Major Project / Thesis Materials
So, I redid some things like merchandise, and I'm still working on the physical location scribbles. I'll probably get some feedback from you ladies and see your thoughts on Tuesday. I created a social media page for mom burnout. I will start adding stuff to that soon, like social media campaigns. I really have been thinking about what I want the physical location to look like, mockup-wise, since our meeting.
User testing, which I feel would be best for this, would be Usability Testing. I talk about it more in the discussion area.
I reviewed the different research methods in the textbooks, and the ones I found to be the most compelling are below. After much thought and discussion, I have pursued Usability Testing.
Both benefit my user testing because usability testing ensures that what I am offering is intuitive, easy to use, and aligned with the users' needs. Mothers would interact with a prototype or final version of my products or physical location while being observed or interviewed about their experiences or thoughts. I can ask them to perform specific tasks, such as setting up a relaxation routine through an app or an organizational tool, and assess how easily they navigate it. By observing how mothers use my solution, I can identify points in the user experience and improve features to make them more helpful and user-friendly. This can ensure that my deliverables help reduce stress rather than adding to it.
